The Winnie Wrap Skirt is a versatile A-line wrap skirt that has both buckles & bowties. Using inseam buttonholes, you can choose which option to show off and which to tie inside the wrap. With mini and midi lengths, inseam pockets, and optional patch pockets, Winnie works with a wide range of fabrics for an adaptable all-weather staple.

Ideal fabrics:
- denim
- canvas
- structured linen

Also works well with:

- light to heavy weight wovens including:
— cotton poplin
— Indian block print cotton
— seersucker
— cotton twill
— wool
— corduroy

Tips:
- fabrics with some structure give it a utilitarian effect
- looser woven fabrics with a lot of drape may distort the A-line shape
- if using a heavy weight fabric, choose a matching lighter weight fabric for your waistband lining and inseam pockets

Required sewing level:
- Confident Beginner. New sewists will learn new techniques.

I love how this turned out! It's a really flattering skirt. The two tying options are such a great design detail, and the construction behind them is genius. I really enjoyed sewing it.
