Sizing

I am very proud to have an inclusive size range. Below you can see the Madswick size chart, and a video which walks you through it. In the video I also explain how to properly measure yourself for the perfect fit!

Please note, each pattern is drafted for a B/C cup and a 5'6" (1.67m) person. Each pattern has ease built in for bigger or smaller bust sizes, and lengthen and shorten lines for different heights and personal preferences!

With that being said, I wan't anybody and every BODY to be able to wear MADSWICK patterns. Below is our current size range, which I believe to be inclusive. That being said, I am always open to your feedback. If you fall outside of this size range and would like to sew with a MADSWICK pattern please reach out to me hello@madswick.com and I am happy to grade to your size!

How to Assemble Patterns

All our patterns come with multiple printing options.

Print at Home: If you are printing from home in the USA you will likely use US letter, most other countries will use A4. Click here, or watch below, to watch how to assemble a print at home file.

Copy Shop: If you would like to skip cutting and glueing your paper together you can send your pattern to be printed at a local or online copy shop. Some online shops I can recommend are PDF Plotting and Brooklyn Motif.

Projector Sewing

Most of our patterns have a projector file. This allows you to skip printing your pattern and directly project it on your fabric. If you are new to projector sewing I would recommend checking out this facebook group for more information. There is even a great free website/appto help you calibrate your projector, thicken the lines of A0 files, and other great features.

Stockists

We are proud to have our patterns digitally stocked at:

We do not have our patterns stocked anywhere else. If you happen to see them sold anywhere else, or would like to stock our patterns, please let us know at hello@madswick.com

Testing

All of our patterns undergo rigorous testing by dozens of pattern testers in a wide size range.

Are you interested in becoming a pattern tester? Being a pattern tester means you get...

  • early access to the pattern
  • exclusive discounts
  • a finalized copy of the final pattern
  • one extra free pattern from MADSWICK

In order to become a pattern tester you will need to fill out an application for each individual pattern. Testing calls are sent out via email to newsletter subscribers and announced on instagram. We do our best to create a diverse testing group of all skill levels, genders, sizes, and race. Please apply again if you aren't accepted the first time! I try to add new people each pattern test.

Sales

Everybody loves a good sale right? Although we believe our prices reflect the true value of our patterns, we do want to make our patterns accessible to all. So lets talk about how you can save some money here at MADSWICK.

  1. Buy patterns during a sale. We have 2 sales per year on all patterns. One for our birthday in March, and one after Thanksgiving in November.
  2. We run a sale on individual patterns during their launch week! Be sure to signed up for our newsletter for the best discount.

I can't say thank you enough to those who purchase Madswick patterns. You are directly impacting this small business, and your support means so much!

Discount Codes

I am lucky enough to work with some amazing other companies. They offer some great discount codes to my customers through affiliate links This means you get a nice discount, and I receive a small commission. When you shop through these links it helps us keep doing what we are doing!

I am really careful about our recommendations, and promise to only share things I believe worth your money and time.
