The MADE-line PANTS pattern is designed with beginners in mind and is considered a beginner sewing pattern.
Fabric Recommendations
This pattern requires between 1.6 - 3.25 yds/meters of woven fabric depending on the size you choose.
Light to mid weight wovens are recommended for this pattern, but a heavy denim would also work nicely (as seen in our website). The pockets must be made from a light weight woven such as cotton lawn or voile. Some possible wovens could include, linen, viscose, tencel, denim, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, quilting cotton, cotton twill etc.
Cottons poplin, quilting cotton and linen are great fabrics for beginners as they hold their shape.
