The Ginkgo Pinafore pattern requires between 3.5 - 7.5 yds/meters of woven fabric, depending on the size and view you choose. By adding the flutter sleeve you may need an additional 1/4yds/meters of woven fabric
Light - mid weight wovens are recommended for this pattern.
Linen is the recommended fabric for this pattern, but you could make this pattern from any light-mid weight woven fabric with a little drape such as cotton, tencel, or viscose or linen/cotton viscose blends. You may choose a mid-weight wool or denim for this project, but will find the best results if you line it with a lighter fabric.
