Sew Small September 2024
As a small business owner I have felt first hand how hard it can be to slave over my business, launch a product...and crickets.
After feeling sorry for myself (for way too long), I realized I could use that energy for something better, and for something much more positive.
I started to think about all the other business that might be going through the same thing as me. How could I help other sewing businesses in my same shoes? What if we all worked together to rise up and create awareness about our small brands?
So I reached out to Nat and Sew Small September was born.
So how do you participate???
For Shops
- Join the Discord - Fill out this form and we will send you the link! We will be talking all things business the ups and the downs and sharing tips and tricks along the way
- Share SSS Graphics to get more people engaged
- Tell us about your small business! We will add it to our list
For Participants
- Enter in the giveaway (see how below)
- Join the Discord - We will be crowdsourcing all about small shops, free patterns, how to better support our sewing community and the business that keep it going
- Share SSS content on your pages, like the bingo card and other shareable stories
How To enter into the giveaway:
- During the month of September, post a picture/reel to your Instagram feed featuring a pattern made by a small indie designer or using fabric from a small fabric shop
- Use the hashtag #sewsmallseptember24
- Tag @neighborhoodpatterns and @madswick_studio (this helps us see it since Instagram has changed how #'s work)
